Fort Polk PWOC 28 October 2008

• October is the month that we recognize our Unit Ministry Teams and today we had our Chaplains and their assistants over for a time to be introduced and enjoy a good snack. It was interesting to see men among us. When asked if anyone had brought a friend, one spoke up and said, "Yes. I brought my friend Joe. This is his first time to PWOC." What a blessing it is to know that our soldiers have men and women who have answered the call to ministry that they can turn to. Please join us this month in praying for them.
• Also, today was our final PWOC meeting before International Conference. If you have registered to attend and have not yet paid your fees, please see Yvonne ASAP. You can hop over to PWOC online to view the schedule and pre-register for your workshops. We will be meeting at the Main Post Chapel @ 7:30A.M. on the 13th of November to be ready to roll out by 8:00A.M. sharp. Each day from now until conference, there will be a specific prayer prompt posted here that you can join in women from all over the world as we prepare to come together in Dallas.
• PWOC will reconvene on 18 November, unless you are in the Enhancing Your Marriage study and will be attending the meeting on 5 November.
